And the award for BEST MODULAR ROADS of 2024, goes to... you! How 'bout that color palette, eh? I'm a fan. I'm lucky if I find one palette I can use for everything. Which I have found one, but not for exactly everything. I just use lospec, but wish I had my own for everything. Anyway, really great work here. I see there aren't any street lightes, light poles and what not. What're we to do, place characters all over the city with their arms up in the air, waving around like they just don't care? Hehe.

Thank you, haha! Oh yes, the plan is to keep the colour palette updated across all packs to work seamlessly - I did plan it a ton, but you know ... things evolve through time ;)

Also the next steps for this pack in particular is to create bike lanes (already on it):

Including the building blocks, of course (since everything I create is made out of 4x4 and carefully planned, just like in the UI design, multiplied by 4 (so, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24 etc.):

Apart from that, one of the next steps surely is to create props such as Traffic lights, benches, fire hydrants, signs, bus stops etc. Thought this will be right after the bike lane update.

Since this pack is inspired by EU, I would like to expand it a bit in a sense, to also have it expanded with US inspired signage (eg. double yellow lines, road signage etc.)

After that I will be experimenting with various textures for sidewalks & roads as well - worn out feel, potholes, sewage drains, sidewalk etc.

And mainly, re-organising everything to its sense and easier export to game engines such as Godot, Unity & Unreal. Althought there is plenty of tutorials online, I might create one or two specifically for my packs as well.

Stay tuned for more! ;)
Pro tip: Any suggestions etc. feel free to send them my way, I will most likely consider them!

Wow. Thank you for the beefy reply. I'm not even a Patreon supporter. So, I do feel unworthy of the behind-the-scenes look. I do appreciate it. Perhaps in the near future I can support you there. Will the future updates to the streets be included in this pack or separate? I feel separate would be best for you. I'm sure you have it figured out. :)

I think having EU elements (whatever the heck EU means. Just kidding) is a good idea. Throw in some of those double-decker buses, but leave the overcast weather out of it!

You've really thought of everything. You're quite impressive, through and through. From your colors, style to blueprints and finished vision. New textures will be a very nice touch, indeed! You could even throw in some construction zones, crime scene tape, chalk outlines, blood stains (for those looking to turn this into a "Hit the Bicyclist" game. Maybe there's a hidden level beneath the street with an entry from a manhole. Hey, now that sounds like a different game. *coughs* But yeah. Sorry. Shouldn't have said "but" after that. Was not my intention. Maybe dress the street up with some sewer drains to boot. Again, not my intention. Hah.

You can add a chicken as an easter egg... but since they don't lay easter eggs, maybe not. No. I was thinking of the chicken crossing the road. Sounded better, if not loud... in my head, squawking.

It's good of you to have your assets working in several game engines. I'm over here trying to animate a  game in magicavoxel. Pretty silly. But on that topic, speech bubbles and other action style type notification, alerts and things would be neat. Not sure it really makes sense though. Well, it does make perfect sense for one looking to throw all this together in a game engine, for sure.

What about UI and fonts for people to make menus and what not?

Quite honestly, I believe you're the man for the job of erecting an entire city from this end to that end and all that's in-between.

As you release more, it'll give me more ideas.

TAXI! Gotta run. Hehe.

WAIT! This Isn't My Taxi. New Game Mode Unlocked! *You've got into the wrong taxi! (was there ever a right one?) Now you've gone from passenger to taxi driver. See how many people you can pick up and drop off before the timer stops and you have to scream "This isn't my taxi!" and get spit out of the taxi... only to be left waiting for the next "TAXI!"*
